Field Application Engineer
We are looking for a dynamic Field Application Engineer who wants to contribute to the international development of e-peas by providing technical support to our customers.
You have a technical background in electronic engineering and/or computer science.
You collaborate with the Sales Manager, engaging with customers on-site to understand their needs and provide the right solutions.
You will operate from China while working closely with our international teams and supported by a global organization.
You are a driven team player.
You will be supported by experienced team members and progressively build your technical and customer-facing skills.
Job description
- Provide tailored technical solutions to support customer projects and design-in activities
- Understand customer applications in depth and deliver optimized design recommendations
- Act as a technical interface between customers, sales, and internal engineering teams, with guidance from senior team members
- Develop understanding of the customer journey and support needs at different stages of the lifecycle
- Maintain high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction
- Write clear, customer-oriented technical documentation
- Travel to meet customers and discuss their projects
- Organize project follow-up calls with customers and sales
- Deliver technical presentations at customer meetings, seminars, trade shows, and webinars
- Work in close partnership with the China Sales Manager to drive customer engagement and support the sales process from opportunity to design-win
- Support customers in debugging and troubleshooting both hardware and embedded software/firmware issues during development and integration phases
- Support customer design-in activities and contribute to business growth in the China market
- Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to contribute to product improvement
- You will have the opportunity to gradually take ownership of customer projects as your experience grows

Profile required
- BS/MS in Electronic Engineering or related field (junior profiles with strong learning motivation are welcome)
- Strong hardware foundation with interest or initial exposure to embedded software and firmware, and willingness to further develop these skills
- Analog / Power Management expertise is a plus
- Relevant experience in a sales or sales engineering role is a plus (hardware, semiconductor, or system integrator)
- Open-minded, respectful, and eager to learn, with strong listening skills and ability to collaborate in a diverse and international team environment
- Languages: Mandarin and English
