About the role & requirements
We are looking for a high-performing China Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management. You will also manage our distribution channels. As an experienced sales and business developer, this is a superb opportunity for you to take a key position in a promising technological start-up, to interact with C- level in a company and to build a team around you as e-peas grows-up.
- BS/MS degree in business administration or engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with semiconductor sales to major Chinese ODMs and consumer electronics brands.
- Experience in selling also to consumer IOT, Home automation/sensors and industrial IOT companies.
- Experience with energy harvesting ICs and/or low power MCUs would be a big plus.
- Proven sales track record showing that targets are consistently met.
- Good technical understanding and ability to articulate technical concepts.
- Self-starter who takes the initiative, works with limited direction, and has experience with companies pursuing and undergoing rapid growth.
- Experience selling new technologies and focus on product adoption and expansion.
- Ability to work as freelance employee.
- Fluent Mandarin. Fluent English.
- Proficiency in using CRM and Microsoft Office software.
Job duties
- Maintain good relationships and increase revenue with existing accounts.
- Build-up new customer accounts and establish long-term business relationships.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by implementing winning sales strategy and managing distributors and agents in the region.
- Build-up strong technical knowledge of e-peas product portfolio.
- Track projects progress and work with e-peas technical team to anticipate and solve issues.
- Provide regular report: keeping the management team well informed by submitting required reports in a timely manner that document customer visits, weekly activities, and updates on the regional situation.
- Work very closely with existing distributors in the region and assess their performance.
- Regular customers visits within the territory (Travel required – 30%).
And most importantly:
- Develop and maintain tight relationship with key consumer electronic accounts such as major electronics consumer brands.
- Develop and maintain tight relationship with key consumer electronic ODMs.
- Be well informed about competitive landscape.
